Blog posts your editor would actually publish.

I write SEO-driven blog posts for UK SMEs. Researched, edited, on-strategy posts that earn their place in the editorial calendar. SEO planned into every outline, AI for research pace, human writing for the words that stay.

Send a brief How it works
The problem

Why most blog & article writing briefs go wrong.

Three patterns I see in almost every rescue project. If two of these sound familiar, the brief (not the writer) is usually the bottleneck.

01

Raw AI content

1,500 words of perfectly readable nothing. Ranks for a fortnight, ages badly, embarrasses the brand in month three. AI-assisted writing works, unedited AI does not.

02

No point of view

Listicles and "ultimate guides" that round up everyone else's thinking. Adds nothing, says nothing, links nowhere.

03

Wrong-funnel posts

Top-of-funnel content with bottom-of-funnel CTAs. Or vice versa. Traffic that never converts because intent and offer don't match.

What\'s included

Everything in a typical project.

One quote, one writer, one timeline. No à la carte upsells, no surprise add-ons.

01

Brief + keyword check.

I confirm the search intent before drafting. Wrong-intent posts get caught here, not at publish.

02

Outline first.

Headings, key claims, sources to cite. You approve direction before I write a word.

03

Researched draft.

900–2,200 words. Sources cited, claims supported, no hallucinated stats.

04

One revision round.

Tracked changes in Docs. Most posts need one round, occasionally two.

05

Meta + OG copy.

Title tag, meta description, social-share title. Written to earn the click.

06

CMS-ready handover.

Markdown or pasted into your CMS of choice with internal links suggested.

How it runs

Four steps, no surprises.

You always know what’s next. Each step gates the next. Nothing moves forward until you sign off the step before.

1

Topic + intent

You send a topic, I check the SERP and confirm the angle that actually has a chance of ranking.

2

Outline approved

Headings + key claims sent in 48 hours. You approve before any drafting.

3

Draft in 5 days

900–2,200 words, sources cited, claims supported. Delivered in Google Docs.

4

Revise + publish

One revision round, then meta + social copy and CMS-ready handover.

Questions

Common blog & article writing questions.

Will it rank on Google?+
Posts I write are SEO-aware: keyword + intent check, headings, meta. But I won't promise a ranking. Anyone who does is selling you something. What I will say: I won't publish a post the SERP tells me has no chance.
Does Sage Writers use AI?+
Yes, properly. AI accelerates research, brainstorming and first-pass structure. Then human craft takes over: strategy, SEO planning, editing and proofreading. That amalgamation is why the copy ships faster than a traditional agency and still reads like a person wrote it. The draft you receive is human-signed-off, every time.
Can you write in my existing voice?+
Yes. Send 3–5 recent posts you're happy with and I'll mirror the voice. If you have a written brand voice doc, even better.
Do you handle publishing in my CMS?+
Happy to publish in WordPress, Webflow, Ghost or Notion if you give me access. Otherwise I deliver in Markdown or Google Docs ready to paste in.
What if a post needs more than one revision?+
Second revisions are included on the monthly retainer and long-form package. On single posts they're £80 each. But again, more than one usually means the brief needs a chat, not more revisions.

Have a brief I should read?

Tell me a little about your project below. Even a rough idea is enough. I'll come back with a few clarifying questions and a written quote.

  • I reply to every enquiry myself, usually the same working day
  • No autoresponders, no “I'll be in touch” form letters
  • I'll tell you honestly if I'm the wrong fit
